I received some products from touch in SOL. Even though I'm Korean, I first heard about touch in SOL through Glossy Box when I received Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base. I still use the primer to this day and love it! It's really easy to use, as well as, it works well. For that reason, I was extremely excited to try more products from touch in SOL. For this post, I will review their gel eyeliner.

Thoughts: One of the many things I love about Asian brands is the packaging. They really know how to package their products and make it look adorable.
It's a simple box, but for some odd reason it looks adorable to me.
On the back of the box, it's mostly written in Korean. If you're not or cannot read Korean, this will be tough or at least that's what I thought. If you look carefully at the words, you will see "[How to use]." I'm glad they wrote it in English for people who cannot read Korean and are beginners in putting eyeliner on.
I also like they have the manufacturing and expiration dates on the bottom of the box. It's always nice to know when a product will expire.
Now for the eyeliner... The container feels like plastic. When it comes to gel/cream products, I tend to like glass over plastic since the product dries slower in a glass. I will have to test this out as time goes on. I probably won't know until half a year from now. I do suggest you store it upside to help with air circulation.
Even though I knew it was a duo eyeliner, I thought it was so cool when I opened the product!
Here's a closer look at the eyeliner. The smaller of the two is a simple shimmery white color. The bigger of the two is a black with purple specks. I hope you can see the purple specks. It's prettier in person. :)
Here's a swatch of the duo eyeliners. The left is the white and the right is the black.
I took a picture of a different angle of the eyeliner so you can see the purple specks on the black eyeliner. Isn't that gorgeous? By the way, I tried rubbing the eyeliner after it dried. It does not budge at all!
Before I talk more about the eyeliner, it also comes with a brush. Here's a close-up of the hair. The brush reminds me of a lot of drugstore eyeliners that come with a brush (for example Maybelline). I actually used the brush and it's actually pretty decent. I used it for lining my eyes and my inner corners using the white eyeliner.

Here's a look I did with the eyeliner.
Open eyes:
Semi-closed eyes:
I think the purple is more noticeable here.

Now for my overall opinion... I love the color of the black eyeliner with purple specks! The purple specks isn't the most noticeable thing in person, but it all depends on the angle. In certain angles, it's more noticeable than some. It's also very build-able. The first time I applied it on my eyes I notice how light it was compared to my other black eyeliners. I had to apply a thick consistency to get this look. It's a very versatile product. It will be great for beginners who want natural look and scared of dramatic black eyeliners. It's also great for professionals who black, not the blackest, with unique color to it (purple specks).

The white eyeliner I actually found it tougher to work with. No matter how much I dig into the container, my brush wouldn't pick up the white eyeliner. I had to dig really deep to get some onto the brush. I used it in the inner corners and inner, bottom lids.

With both eyeliners once it's applied and dried, it hardly budges! I actually tested it out on my hand when I did a swatch. The staying power is amazing and great for people with oily/watery eyes. It won't move throughout the day.

Pros:
* Cute packaging.
* Manufacturing and expiration date on the box.
* Comes with a good brush that's usable.
* Comes in a plastic container; need to test this out to see if it's good.
* Duo eyeliners; cool concept.
* Pretty; black with purple specks.
* Easy to apply; black eyeliner at least.
* Does not budge.
* Degree of versatility; natural to dark line.
* Great for oily/water eyes!

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Cannot test out before purchasing.
* Comes in a plastic container; need to test this out to see if it's bad.
* Hard to get white eyeliner.

Would repurchase: Yes.

oh wow, i really do love the purple in the black! its nice! but, you're right, i don't really see it too much when its on your skin. i wish the black was more dramatic.. if it was i would totally get this. its nice that it also comes with the light color. haha thats totally an asian (or korean) thing. and what does "create a 3d effect" mean??

That is so cool! It has a white one! I love using gel liner, but lately I've been so lazy and into more wearable and natural looking liner. I love using matte dark brown eyeshadow as my liner.. It fades throughout the day though.. But I've always loved gel liners.

btw, can't access their website?

Hrmmm~ It works for me. Try typing touchinsolus.com in your browser instead of getting it through my link. Tell me if that works?

By the way, I tried their BB Cream sample. I love it. Only thing is like all typical BB Cream, it's light... hehe~ Very in-between of medium to heavy coverage.

I'm a huge fan of gel liners myself! I like the concept of liquid eyeliners, but they're always so shiny for my taste. That's why I always reach for gel eyeliners. I love the matte look, but I hate cleaning the brushes. Now that I'm using Parian Spirit to clean my brushes after each use, I reach for gel eyeliners more. :)

The link is working fine now! Are you into more heavier coverage for bb creams?

I hate how the brushes get dirty too! What I do is swipe the excess of right after using the brush and at night when removing my eye makeup, I make sure to rub off the remains on the brush on my used cotton round. Makes it clean!

I like my BB Creams to medium to heavy coverage. It depends on the day. If I want medium coverage, I can apply less. I can't really do that with medium coverage. It won't cover every imperfections... hehe~ What about you?

I've been using brush cleaners lately. I love how clean and fast it dries! :)
