I feel so fortunate to have received Crown Brush HD (High Definition) travel set around when it first came out. It comes in three color sets; purple, orange, and white handles with blue tips. You can check out their HD Set With Mirror and Tweezer. I ended up receiving the orange one.

Here's how my brush set was packaged. You can also see the three color sets.
Product Review: Crown Brush Orange HD Set With Mirror and Tweezer (Set 525)

Where to purchase: crownbrush.com
Price: $27.95

Description from the website:
* Made with high grade synthetic fiber.
* Vegan Friendly.
* Perfect for applying High Definition cosmetics, liquids, creams, and powders.
Thoughts: When I first saw the brush sets on Instagram (I follow Crown Brush), I wanted either the purple or the white handle with blue tips. With my luck, I ended up getting the orange one. In honesty, I still prefer the purple or the white handle but I'm happy with the orange. It's actually much prettier in person than I thought!
Here's how the the inside looks when you open the case. By the way, the case has the Crown Brush logo. It's kind of hard to see in the picture above this one but it's there. The case comes with a removable mirror; you can remove the mirror if you don't want it.
Here's all the brushes and Tweezer out of the case. I will review each brush and tell you what I think.
Pro Powder: If you can tell, the ends are spread out. That's how I received the brush before a thorough wash. After washing, the ends went back into shape. I also noticed out of all the brushes, this is the only one that sheds. It shed about 3-5 hairs. When it comes to brushes, there are no rules. You can use them for whatever that works. I actually used this as a contour to contour my face with a bronzer. It's perfect to contour the cheekbones since it's flat not all around rounded. The hair is also not compacted so it can be easy on the face if you use it as a powder.
Tapered Blush: This is a little more compacted which is great as a blush or highlighter on the cheekbones. I used it for both.
Deluxe Contour: Out of all the brushes, this is the most compacted. This is great for contouring small areas but I actually used it for the crease on the eyes. It blends really well.
Chisel Shadow: This is a great eyeshadow brush. It's small and compacted. It's great on the lid, as well as, eyeshadows on the bottom lids.
Crease Blender: This is really good as a blender brush for the eyes, but I prefer more compacted. For that reason, I used the Deluxe Contour. The brush is really soft and flexible. I can see a lot of people using this to blend the eyeshadows.
Detail Liner: Out of all the brushes, this is my least favorite. I tend to like my eyeliners with a fine tip. The hair on the tip is all over the place. For that reason, I haven't even touched this brush. Now that I'm looking at the brush, I can actually use it to highlight the inner corners of my eyes.
Tweezer: I like that the travel set comes with a Tweezer. It's great to pull out stray hairs especially the eyebrows while doing your makeup. You never know when you need to pull some hair out.
Here's a close-up of the tip of the Tweezer. It's sturdy, well-made, and pull hair out decently.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I'm a big fan of synthetic brushes. They're especially soft on the face and even after some time, they still remain soft. I think for that reason, I tend to get synthetic brushes. Secondly, I actually took this with me to my trip to Vegas. It really came in handy. I didn't need to take any other brushes but this set. It really saved space while packing, at the same time, it was in one case not all over the place. Lastly not all the brushes were a hit, but I highly recommend this set. It's attractive, convenient, and most importantly just a good quality product.

Pros:
* Comes with a travel case.
* Comes with a mirror and Tweezer.
* Versatile brushes.
* Soft, synthetic brushes.
* Does not shed much.
* Convenient.
* Good quality brushes and case.

Cons:
* Cannot purchase in store.
* Cannot test out the softness before purchasing.

Would repurchase: Yes.

I was quite happy with my set too! The only one I will never touch is the detail liner. This is now part of my office desk "ack I woke up late and have to do makeup at work" stash teehe

It is practical and it's also good. I agree with you! :) Crown Brush is well known here in California. I'm not too sure about other states and country.

Which color set did you get? I agree I also don't touch the Detail Liner.
