I am fortunate to receive a facial cream from Sibu Beauty.

If you're like me and have never heard of this brand, Sibu Beauty products all have sea buckthorn berries. Here's some information about sea buckthorn.

"Sea buckthorn is designed to provide advanced restorative skin care from within by addressing both internal and external aging factors. This ancient berry has a written history focusing on the aging issues of health and beauty of more than twenty-eight centuries. Such uses include treating and soothing damaged skin, healing wounds from ancient battles and part of a special nutrition program for Russian cosmonauts.

Sea buckthorn contains protective nutrients including vitamins A, C, E, K, minerals, carotenoids, flavonoids, antioxidants, polyphenols, and phytosterols. In fact, over 190 bioactive nutrients have been found in this important fruit of the Himalayas.

Sea buckthorn is loaded with essential Omega fatty acids 3, 6, and 9. It is also a rich source of the elusive Omega 7 fatty acid.

What is Omega 7?
Palmitoleic Acid, commonly known as Omega 7 is very unique, and sea buckthorn berries are the most abundant sources of Omega 7 in the plant world. Omega 7 is a naturally occurring component of healthy skin that helps neutralize free radicals and aids the production of collagen, a body function that begins to diminish with age. Omega 7 studies have shown improvement in membrane function (gastrointestinal, urinary, cardiovascular), skin and tissue hydration and enhanced elasticity."

I got this information from the brochure. They said it better than I ever could!

Thoughts: When the PR first contacted me, I've heard of Sibu Beauty but I wasn't sure where. From what I recalled, I've heard great things about this facial cream. For that reason, I was extremely excited to try it out.
I love that the cream comes in a pump and you have full control of it.
I'm a huge fan of when there's an expiration date on the bottle.
Here's a swatch of the product on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, it has a scent that can be strong for some people but it doesn't last that long. I probably smell it for a minute or two. I cannot describe the scent but it reminds me of the forest for some reason. I know some people relate forest to a musky scent. This doesn't have a musky scent whatsoever. It's more fresh with a cool sensation. Secondly, the consistency of the product is in-between light to medium. For that reason, I didn't think it would hydrate my dry skin. This product is amazing and hydrates better than a lot of thicker consistency products! My skin loves this product. It absorbs quickly, doesn't leave a greasy feel, and it feels so soft. Lastly, I've been using this product for some time and I noticed how awake my skin looks. It looks more youthful, and I have to admit my skin looks younger. I also noticed the deep lines on my forehead as become lighter. I have to admit this might be my newest daytime facial cream. I love it that much!

Pros:
* Comes in a pump; sanitary safe.
* Full control of the quantity it pumps.
* Travel-friendly.
* Expiration on the bottle.
* Light to medium consistency; great for all skin types.
* Hydrating.
* Skin looks more awake.
* Lessen the deep lines.
* No parabens, sulfates, gluten, and artificial preservatives.
* Has antioxidants.
* Omega 7.
* Vegan.
* Cruelty free.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.

Would repurchase: Yes!
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws

I'm with you on that. I'm extremely bad remembering when I bought the products, as well as, how long they last. I honestly don't understand when companies put the expiration date on the box and not on the product. Don't most people throw away the boxes?
