My friend, you know who you are, gifted me wonderful nail polishes from Zoya.

I took this picture from my Instagram. I already reviewed Zoya in Aurora (first left from the bottom row), Zoya in Nikki (first left from the top row), and Zoya Remove + Nail Polish Remover (left). For this post, I will review the polish third left from the bottom row.
This is Zoya in Pepper. Since I did a thorough review of Zoya in Aurora, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color and the website describes it "as a brick red cream that's the perfect marsala shade!" I agree with the description.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, it's thinner and shorter. I have to say it's on the thin side when it comes to the width.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Formula X For Sephora Base Coat, 2 coats of Zoya in Pepper, then topped it off with Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all since the brush is thin, I had difficulties brushing around the cuticles. Compared to other people, I'm not that great with painting my nails. For that reason, I tend to grab for thicker brushes like OPI. They're quick to paint, as well as, easy to paint around the cuticles. Secondly, the consistency is on the medium side. It's not too thick that I have to paint my nails quickly before it dries. It's not to thin that it's running and I have to apply more than 2 coats. It's a perfect consistency that I can take my time with. It goes on smoothly, and there's no streaking and bubbles. Third, this is a great fall/winter color. I even got compliments by three girls in a car. They pulled next to my car and complimented me on my polish. I never got that before! Lastly, I noticed shrinkage on the tips on the second day. After that, it didn't chip at all.

Would repurchase: Yes.
